Culinary Antiques: Inspirations for the Holiday Table

While the holiday may look different this year, you can still celebrate safely and in style. We encourage you to take some time laying your table and choosing your favourite serving pieces. Try a new recipe, enjoy the process. This is a time to reflect and enjoy.

However you celebrate the season, the holidays are a time when your tabletop should shine. A well laid out holiday table can be as memorable as the menu. We suggest you start with your centerpiece, in our case we have used a diminutive antique monteith bowl to hold our posy bouquet. Next choose your place settings and finally your serving pieces to match your menu. Festive touches such as fresh in-season fruit and vegetables add colour and ambience to the table.
